A beautiful frame is a beautiful frame, sometimes so eye catching that it doesn't need a painting or a photograph between its confines to bring it to life.
But how about a paper puffer fish?
That's what my friend Marino, a graphics designer and artist who lives in Rijeka, Croatia, suspended inside these two vintage, golden finds.
Bobbing in the breeze that comes from a nearby open window, this little guy, who looks to me like a cross between a lemon and a cantaloupe, is just hangs out in a constant state of puffiness.
Now I wouldn't like feeling that way, but he seems quite content.
