Reuse & Repurpose: Read On

Photograph by Stan Williams
Instead of shelving an old novel, why not turn it into an eye-catchin planter like the creative folks at Rolling Greens in Los Angeles did. They carved out the center of this tome, outfitted it with a plastic container and then placed an assortment of gorgeous succulents in its interior for a real page turner of a book!

Always Frugal, Always Fabulous,

  1. Ha! You can't do that with an ebook! But I hope nobody makes a planter out of your fab book. --Lurky

  3. Hey Lurks,

My book isn't deep enough! It would have to be a tiny little clover bed. Hmmm, maybe not such a bad idea....

  4. I'm not sure how I feel about this one. I hate to see books destroyed. Certain books that is.
