Reuse & Repurpose: Have a Seat

Color is a major design elements I talk about in The Find: The Housing Works Book of Decorating With Thrift Shop Treasures, Flea Market Objects, and Vintage Details. It can be used for bringing dissimilar objects together or for creating a standout in a group. Color has the ability to transform even the most bland of objects into visual treats, such as these old theater seats in the windows of Top Shop on Broadway. What a cheery, "Chairy" display.

Always Frugal, Always Fabulous,

The Elegant Thrifter

  1. Beautiful! Stacked neatly like that, they remind me of a fresh new box of crayons. I appreciate the work that went into making each chair a different color, too. It's the skittles bag of chairs! :)

  2. I agree with thriftcore, they remind me of a brand new box of crayons. Fresh and Spring like.

  3. your work reflects your superb creativity!
